Mistakes in innovation attract interest

The ISIPO organized a failed lunch event at Iceland Innovation Week last week together with Controlant and the Confederation of Icelandic Industries. Despite the subject of the event, it was a success beyond expectations, many guests came to listen to entrepreneurs and representatives of Icelandic innovative companies tell about the many mistakes they have made and the blunders they have been involved in. All the talks were very interesting, and the guests went home with valuable knowledge about the importance of allowing oneself to make mistakes, learn from them and move on. There are few things better than learning from the mistakes of others, but it is also important to get it directly from people who have made it, that everyone makes mistakes, even ministers.

The Intellectual Property Office would like to thank Controlant and the Federation of Icelandic Industries for their cooperation, the lecturers for their excellent talks and the guests for coming.
