No Changes to the Classification of Goods and Services for Trademarks

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) typically updates the classification list for goods and services used in trademark registration at the end of each year. This time, no changes will be made to the headings of the classes; however, there will be adjustments to the terms or explanations associated with the classifications. As a result, Announcement No. 1365/2023 regarding the 12th edition of the international classification of goods and services for trademarks will not be amended at the upcoming turn of the year.
