The ISIPO ranked 8th in Institution of the Year 2025

The Icelandic Intellectual Property Office (ISIPO) ranked 8th in the category of institutions with 5–39 employees in the 2025 Institution of the Year survey. This marks an improvement of two places from the previous year.

The results were announced at a formal ceremony on 12 February. The title Institution of the Year is awarded to workplaces that, according to employee feedback, demonstrate excellence in human resource management.

The survey was conducted from October to December 2025. Nearly 18,000 valid responses were received, including more than 11,000 from employees of state institutions. The response rate was just under 52%.

The purpose of the survey is to recognize workplaces that achieve outstanding results in human resource management, while also providing valuable guidance for continued improvements in leadership and working environments across the public sector.

ISIPO’s improved ranking reflects the Office’s ongoing commitment to fostering a positive, professional and supportive workplace for its employees.
