Workshop with trademark and patent representatives

Representatives of the largest patent- and trademark agencies in Iceland visited us today to learn about and discuss the offices' current and upcoming digital development. The main projects include a User Area - where special emphasis will be placed on the needs and expectations of frequent users - and digital publication of the monthly IP Gazette.

The representatives were also given a glimpse into the new trademark examination system, which was launched in November 2023 and has already improved the quality of trademark examination and significantly increased efficiency and speed.

The workshop was very successful and comments from our guests will be very useful in developing the aforementioned solutions in the coming months.
