FUVE - Icelandic Association of Patent and Trademark Representatives

An Icelandic organisation of independent professionals that represent applicants and proprietors of intellectual property rights, such as patents, trademarks and designs. Members of the association provide services to both foreign and domestic clients seeking assistance and representation in intellectual property matters. The association has good cooperation with authorities, such as in the preparation of amendments of laws and regulations in the field.

Technology Development Fund

The role of the fund is to support research and development activities, which aim towards innovation in Icelandic industry. It is a competitive fund which issues its calls for proposals twice a year.

New Business Venture Fund

An evergreen investment fund that actively contributes to the development and growth of the Icelandic economy by investing in promising innovation and start-up companies.

The Consumer Agency

A governmental agency in Iceland which is entrusted with market surveillance of business operators, good functioning and transparency of the markets in respect to safety and consumers legal rights as well as enforcement of legislation adopted by the Icelandic Parliament for protection of consumers health, legal and economical rights.
