Strategy of the Icelandic Intellectual Property Office 2024-2028

Scope

This strategy encompasses all activities of the Icelandic Intellectual Property Office (ISIPO), excluding accreditation activities. The strategy was developed in consultation with the staff and other stakeholders in the first half of 2024.

Role and Vision

The ISIPO is a government agency which oversees intellectual property matters in Iceland, disseminates knowledge, and engages in active dialogue with society and industry on matters of intellectual property rights.

The ISIPO is a centre of knowledge on intellectual property (IP) rights in an IP-driven society and a strong link in the chain of innovation and industry.
